A little rant about comments on 4shared

While downloading some freebies I noticed the lack of comments on 4shared. Are people put off by now having to log in to leave a comment? It doesn't take long to log in and leave some love. I think I can say for every one that we appreciate ALL the comments you leave even if it just a thank you. So take a little time to leave some love if you download a freebie.

I personally prefer to comment on the individual person's page. If you check out Vicki (bubble's Babbles) there were issues about having to have an account. Another blogger pointed out that your email address gets somewhat exposed through this, (follow crops2dawncreations blinkie on my site if you like) and that was not satisfactory. What Vicki ended up doing was get a shout box. It seems to have made her happier. People are funny, for whatver reason... and want the easiest way to do things. To me, I prefer this... it just seems more thoughtful.
And I do appreciate your hard work and talent.

I agree with the previous commentor. I have a hard problem leaving my e-mail address on 4-shared because I do not know what they will do with it and secondly with all the problems they have I wonder how safe it is. I very very much appreciate all the hard work that all the designers do and look foward to seeing what I can do with the latest and best stuff out there. Being disabled I depend on the great work that you and others do but I must admit I do not say it often enough. I get up each day at 3 am just to see all the cool stuff from the day before.
I am in total agreement....I prefer to leave a comment on the persons blog....Makes it a little more personel and honestly....some people don't even check 4 Shared for comments and prefer them be put on their blog....I liked it when 4 shared didn't require signing up....I don't need a 4 shared account...I LOVE all your most generous gifts that you give us and I'm sure that I have let you know that....just not with 4 shared.....Sometimes when I try to sign in at that site it sends me to a order form and just doesn't let me do comments anyhow...So I WILL continue to comment on your blog ....Hugs Hon
Here's the deal: I had a 4Shared account but closed it because there were issues with privacy (inability to password protect some files). So, I'm sorry, but I won't join again out of principle, even if it is just so I can leave a quick TY. BUT, having said that, I do leave a comment on the blog. You (and all the digi designers!) deserve a huge Thanks for all the great work you do, so it stinks that 4Shared is being a poop.
I am registered at 4shared, and a regular commenter, but they have made some changes and somehow have disabled the comment section for me. SO, I assume I can't be the only one having trouble leaving comments. I have contacted them a couple of times so far, but still no solution.
